Beetroot and red cabbage are harvested in the backyard at Samsø Syltefabrik

Just behind Samsø Syltefabrik, both beetroot and red cabbage are harvested. The red cabbage is taken up from the ground and is driven directly to the factory, where it is made into red cabbage. The harvested beets are stored under hay throughout the winter, and thus the production of beetroot can take place from now until spring.
